Growing up, I had a Trader Joe's in my neighborhood. I have always loved it from their produce section, to their healthy junk food section, to their amazing frozen food aisle. I always dreamt of the days when I would shop at Trader Joe's (almost exclusively). Sadly, I didn't shop at Trader Joe's regularly. I ate whatever food was at home, and I would only go to Trader Joe's occasionally for some snacks and pretty much for fun! It's like an amusement park with a Hawaii theme.
Things have changed since then. I recently moved away from home and now live in a city with, not just one (well actually two but I rarely went to the other one), but four Trader Joe's!!! I must be in heaven slash Boston.
I am always on the look out for low calorie, low fat, and, most importantly, high fiber food. I believe in less meat and more veggies and fruits. But I can't live without seafood. In fact, if I had to choose two things to eat for the rest of my life, they would be crabs and oysters. Good thing I am in Boston. I
think know my cholesterol level is unhealthily high. Despite my attempt to eat healthy, I am...unhealthy--I overdosed on processed food and frozen food...and chocolate a long time ago.
Anyways, here is to adult life, food, and being able to shop at Trader Joe's whenever I want!
Cheers,
Alex
